SUNSCREEN PROTECTION, DIFFERENTLY.

THE CONTEXT

Sun protection is widely recognized as essential, yet it is still inconsistently adopted in real-world use.
Despite growing awareness around skin health and UV-related risks, data from dermatological associations and public health studies show that a significant share of people apply insufficient protection, apply it incorrectly, or fail to reapply it over time.

THE GAP

Over the last decade, the sunscreen industry has evolved in terms of formulations, SPF performance and regulatory standards.
At the same time, formats, routines and usage models have remained largely unchanged, leaving a persistent gap between scientific effectiveness and everyday behavior.

OUR APPROACH

Our projects focus on sun protection and skin treatment, moving beyond conventional cosmetic approaches by starting from this gap. Rather than adapting existing models, we explore alternative ways to design and develop products with the goal of improving consistency, usability and real-world effectiveness.
